2 Degree Ice Art and Ice Bar 2013-2014

Last Saturday we had some time to kill during the odd hour so Cheney, my younger bro(Glenn) and I joined my Sister and Liyi to their trip to the 2 Degree Ice Art Exhibition.

We went on a weekend so each ticket was priced at $35 each + $5(glove and coat) unless you have Student pass or OCBC cards, there is a 10% discount.

We challenged ourselves to take off our coats and gloves to brave the cold for a photo!
(my sister's fun idea!)

Cheney and I looking at Baby Jesus Ice Sculpture!

Glenn, Liyi and I on Santa's Sleigh.
There were LED lights in most of the ice sculptures which resulted in the poor photo lighting.

Group photo.
*I know, my joints are flexible -.-

2 Degree Ice Art Overview.
The exhibition is not permanently stationed, so go before they shift :)
Worth an experience, afterall Singapore's weather will never be -15!

Went over the other connecting side to 2 Degree Ice Bar!
They provide coats for free but $2 for gloves if needed.
Entrance is free but each person has to order an item.

 Ice table and chairs, Amazing!

Made the right choice to order the Wedges.
It was hot when it came, pop it into our mouths in the cold atmosphere, *Shiok!*

Top up $3 to each drink for an Ice Mug to be thrown on the wall!

Red: Mocktails- Cinderella and Shirley Temple
Blue: Cocktail- 2 Degree Signature Cocktail
All the drinks were nice.

Love Them!

Don't you curiously want to taste the amazing ice mug sculpture? Don't judge..
Btw, it tastes like... ice. frozen ice.

After drinking, we threw the mugs on the Ice wall!

Then we went back to the Ice Art Exhibition for more fun!
The more the merrier, the couples dont seem to enjoy as much as the groups of friends.

We sneakily sat together. 5 on the float, haha..

Ending off the day with a funny video of me! haha..
I was stand-sliding(I made up the word) down smoothly everytime when coincidentally I requested for my sister to video-take and I ended not so smoothly. haha..

-----------------------------------------

We had so much fun, my sis decided to bring my mum the following week!
So we went after Glenn's school on Tuesday.
Weekday is priced at $25 each, Student $20. Both exclude $5 for gloves and coat.

Mum and I

Group photo.

Brought her to the Ice Bar for an Ice Cold Beer!
While waiting for our order to come..

Press on any metal item, makes an imprint on the ice table, interesting!

Ordered the same Mocktails- Cinderella and Shirley Temple.
and Beer was 1-for-1
Bad choice on the popcorn chicken,
it wasn't hot, most prob was left out in the open air for a long time before serving.

My sis discovered a RAINBOW ICE MUG!

Perth, Australia Part 3

Third and final part of the trip :)

Day11

Since we were left with more than 2days, so we decided to eat what we MISS!
Vons Drumsticks are definitely included! :)

Then to Greens and Co for new flavours!
Maltese Cake!

Hot Chocolate with Vanilla Ice Cream!

Picnic Cake!

Day 12

One of Glenn's purpose to go Australia was to see his drum-related stuff, so we went in search.

First Stop: Instrument Shop.
Look at their wide range.
Unfortunately they didn't have the only brand he was looking for-Orange County.

2nd Stop: Music School.
Cus its the spring season. Lots of Flowers blossoming, particularly these Purple flowers on the street.
So Pretty!!

Had sore throat since Ive been eating so much junk food.
So I drank one whole Big bottle! *Claps!

Then we head off to Ciao Italia for the Final Yummy Time!

Ate their Wood-Fired Pizza suggested my sis, since we were quite full the last time.
So we came with an empty tummy this time to give space for all the yummy food! :)

Couldn't give this delicate tiramisu a miss!

Had Macs for Supper to accompany my sis while she studied for her last test!

Day13

Finally, we were craving for Chinese Food.
So we had Chinese for Lunch.

Bak Kut Teh

Char Kway Teow

Bubble Teas from Utopia.

Pretty flowers in the front yard of the house *sweet*

Better than Popcorn Chicken.

Day 14

The previous time when I came to Perth to visit my sis,
she brought mum and I to Dragon Palace where they have the best dim sum ever!
Even better than Singapore's to be honest.
So this time we brought Glenn but we couldn't eat much
cus our Landlady made us breakfast before we left house!

Never try, never know.
For experience but failed.

Head to Cottesloe Beach, known as the "Family" beach.
The seawater is SOOO icy cold! We only stayed for awhile cus I couldn;t stand the coldness!

Dinner at Uncle Billy's, my sister's favorite place!

We went home and packed our luggage.
Before my sis brought us to the Famous Must-Visit Fremantle Prison.
Unfortunately, it was closed that night ;(
